Has anyone sanded down the wiper arms to respray them?

    Has anyone sanded down the wiper arms to respray them?

    If so how would you go about sanding them? I don't just want to take off the parts where its rusted and respray because then it wouldn't be even.

    Also, what kind of spray would you spray those with? Any suggestions anyone?

    I'd wet-sand them with 600grit, then spray with a black trim paint, I prefer SEM

      If they are not chipping, just scuff them with a red scuff pad.

        Since they're rusted, you need to blast (sand, glass beads, or other media) them & prime & then paint. Try to stick with the same brand primer & paint if you can; any good semi-flat (or satin) black will work.
