    Bumper bolts, no fun

So my 1990 survived a deer colission and the front bumper is still in decent condition. The thing is I need to take the bumper off to replace a fender.

One bolt spins in place past a certain point. I assume the nut is probably spinning as well, but there isn't a way to get a hand behind the bumper to stop it from spinning. Nor is the bolt far enough out that I can get some channel locks/vice grips on it and pull while spinning to use the magic of friction.

The other bolt is in sorry shape. It came out in the past, but I should have used a torx in the past on it, so the head is all messed up. I can't get a good enough grip on it to put in a t55 and get it out.

Any suggestions asides from cutting the bumper up?

Why do you need to remove the bumper to take your fender off? I removed my driver's fender without moving the bumper at all (I have diving boards by the way)
Just tryin' to feed the e30 need.

Maybe you can take the bolts out that hold the shock to the frame & slide the bumper out far enough to get to the fender bolts?
