What attaches the bumper cover to the bumper?

My bumper has never fit on one side, and I've never been able to figure out why. I'm pretty sure I'm missing stuff that holds the bumper cover to the bumper. The only solid thing that's holding the bumper cover on right now is the euro plate and two screws under the plate that were installed by the PO. The ETK shows expanding rivets, and I'd like to know if that's the peice that holds it on, and if so, how many do I need?

Front/Rear? The rear has some large torx screws under the center impact strip that bolt it to the support. The support is only present in the middle of the bumpers, and not on the sides.

Is there any adjustment that can be made? My rear bumper isn't prefectly aligned on the sides, the ends point down a little.

It's the front bumper. One side is perfect, but the other side is sticking out and showing the white under bumper. I had the bumper off, and the cover practically fell off.

its held on by some weird clip things. you can see them if you have the black bumper trim removed. They look like little white dots. the insides pull out and then you can remove the whole piece. chances are you just need some of those clips. i drilled a few of mine out, but they are easy enough to remove.

Thanks a lot for that link!!! I knew there had to be an adjustment. My body shop is just too lazy to do it right. Now I can show them this info and make them do it right!

                thanks a million.
