Why not go with the super cheap gravity fed harbor freight one? Im using one now and it works fantastic. It's also called the "purple gun". Not so sure about the compressor though.

are you talking about http://www.harborfreight.com/20-oz-h...gun-47016.html ? I chose the other one because it requires less CFM.

      What compressor are u using?

Most any compressor will paint one panel - if it has a big enough tank. If you have a portable air tank then hook it up inline to give you more volume before the air compressor kicks back on. The trick is to have enough air to shoot the panel (with whatever gun & air pressure you're using) before the compressor looses it's pressure (before you use more volume than the air compressor puts out).
In order for the air compressor to keep up without larger tanks, it has to produce more CFM than the tool (paintgun) you're using.

4.5 gallon tank does not appear large enough. That's what Driver is getting at. I'm not 100% certain what gallon figure of air you'd need on hand, but 4.5 seems low. If you have another tank that you can run inline that would assure you the volume to finish the job.
