what to fix, paint, and replace...

So as some of you may know the clown who attempted my s50 swap had my very clean E30 for 8 months. Much to my dismay, my garage kept baby spent every day of those 8months parked outside. Now the bottom edge of my drivers door is rusted, as is driver side fender bottom, and a small area near the passenger side rear wheel.

The car got a full re-spray in 06ish and has only seen 25k miles and lived indoors up until recently so the paint is good. How should i go about fixing, painting and replacing those rusted areas?

Also, the front spoiler and zender rear valance need to be painted.

How much am i looking at to get all the work done?

rusted from a 5 year old paint job? sounds like they never got off all the rust before repainting.

the fender lining went was messed up so dirt/mud built up behind it causing the rust. As for everything else, it would appear the last paint job prep was half assed.

couple hundred per panel, pending amount of rust removal/prepping that is necessary.

Joe, check out Autobody Specialist in Columbus if you get a chance. Brian does a lot of work for the SCCA guys and could give you an idea of what it would cost. My E30 is there right now :)

edit: Post a pic of the spots or send me a pm on here or Ohiobimmers. Maybe I could weld in the spots for ya.

I know the fender needs to be replaced, and it will probably be more cost effective to put a new door on. So the only area that needs welding/body work will be the spot by the rear fender.
