    rust issues

So i am going out this week to check out a 325ix that is for sale it is only 1500 which is a great price for a 4 door manual but the only problem is that there is some rust on the car.

from the pictures there only seems to be rust on the trunk and right behind the rear wheels on the lower part of the body. i already have a white 4 door 325ix that i could swap body parts with but i just want to know what i am in for..

does anyone have any tips on how much rust is too much and how much work to fix even a small patch

took me forever to fix a rusted thru spot on my floor pans, and that isnt even visible so I didnt have to weld it neatly (learned how to weld on it, so experience would definitely help, but it was a pain to strip the paint to weld, and time consuming to seam seal, prime, por-15, then undercoat....I wouldnt say its impossible, just time consuming

once again, all this was for welds/panels that are not even seen.
