Gday all,
i've got an 89 2dr Bronzit. it has plastic bumpers but they aren't colour coded, just grey with black strips.
E30 parts are hard to come across here in Western Australia, its a real scavenger affair when anything good comes up! A guy is selling M-Tech 2 replica fibreglass side skirts and wants ~$200AU (~$210US?) for them.
My question is, can i mod them and make them look good on my car without the door pods? Also i dont really want to do M-Tech 2 all round, so i was thinking just iS Lip painted body colour and paint the skirts body colour (those two should line up in height i think). But then for the rear i would probably just strip the black tar paint off and leave it body coloured.
So my question is, do you think i can make it work or is it going to look a bit disjointed?
p.s. i did find pics of Qimi's car, but its hard to get close up shots of what he did. Plus he has flared guards and his skirts arent properly colour matched so all in all it doesnt really give me an accurate idea :/
