late model valence on early model?

will a late model valence fit on an early model car. i really like the look of the late style IS valence and was wondering if it would fit on my 86 325es

wait what? you asked if a late model (88-91) valence would fit an early car (83-87) but said you really liked the early iS front spoiler and asked if that would fit...

if you're putting the plastic bumper valence on a diving board you have to cut off your tow hooks. thats it...
