Yep race skids obviously don't work....I guess that piece of concrete stuck in the lower corner would have been better off hitting my oil pan.
Actually can you make little casters? That way I can install them on my oil pan so the next time I bottom out ill just slide across the road.

im sorry i used hillbillies, thats my bad. and i wasnt bitching in the first place but we got threadjacked and i had to defend myself. i agree that its good that he offers them to the community but i dont have time nor do i want to make them for this community! i said his product was good but didnt agree with the price, i then kept on subject and HELPED the OP with his dilema by supplying the schematics of the dimensions similar to the one i made, i then got called a broke dick for no reason and then another guy (you) supported this dick and went against the guy that was trying to help from the beggining. this is why im pissed that a lot of people act like douchebags in this forum. and to the other kid, im american.OK, now i'll step in. What about hillbillies???? Maybe i take offence to that. You're complaining that he called you a name then pulled a whole group of people in on your little spat.
And i'm with ZM Blue Devil on this. I'm personaly glad someone took the time to make these for an e30. I had one on my e30. It saved the pan plunty of times! But if you feel that these can be made cheaper and offered to the community. Then why are you on here posting and bitching, instead of out making them and selling them to people who feel that a raceskid is too much?
if you like you raceskid, Fine. but if you want to rate his product go on his fuckin page, and stop threadjacking.
(no offence to any douchebags, dicks, hillbillies, kids and theadjackers) and no offence to the guy i quoted i dont know you in real life you might just act like this on the forum

i can afford it but it has nothing to do with being able to afford it and you've obviously missed my point completely. But then again using broke dicks as an insult aimed at someone that didn't at all provoke you i'm assuming your an asshole and i'm sorry for that because its people like you that make this community look like a bunch of hillbilly jerks. Why can't we just talk to eachother and help eachother make a skid plate or whatever the fuck else to save ourselfs some money without having annoying fucking comments from trolls and shit?

You make a good point about breaking them, but for me paying for a skid plate really isn't worth it. I've never broken a pan before. I was going to just leave it naked, but I thought if two steel bars for $15 could maybe save me from a bad day sometime, it's worth it. But spending $200 for something that I don't feel is necessary isn't.and yet we wonder why companies make so few products for the E30.
for the records, installed and or sold dozens of raceskids. The only issues we have seen is when engine mounts shot and oil pan sitting on pan.
There are other options but just keep in mind, more you reinforce more likely is damage is going to go somewhere else... If you are breaking a raceskid nothing is going to save you.
This is obviously just for me personally and doesn't necessarily apply to anyone else.Leave a comment:

tell us more how you feellol :p that's true.. But for those of us that can last a year without banging their pan it's better to build yourself.. Not to mention building only costs like 20$ for the same result as paying ejnight 165$ plus shipping. (no offense ejnight you make a good product and make a profit, fine) but If I feel I can make something in one night myself easily and save 145$ plus shipping ...... its an easy decision for me =dLeave a comment:
