profit is not a dirty word, if everyone sold stuff for what it costs to make it we'd all be broke

Crap I had my response all planned out. I thought this was how to make skid marks. Even had a pic of my boxers to show you.

When you figure out how to make it could you post a diy? Cause paying 230 bux for a plate feels like rape. If they were 100$ fine but I'm not gonna support these guys they're like the gas companies. thanks man

When is the last time you replaced your motor mounts?

Also, how can you slam the radiator support into a pot hole? Or a skid plate for that matter? You'd have to have one tire half way down in it.

    But sooo,

That means you bent your radiator support too then, no?
LOL exactly. The plate cannot bend at the apex unless either the radiator support moves or the steering rack bolts move. It's simple physics of a triangle.

Never a problem, idk how people are bending/destroying your pans with them on. Shitty motor mounts making the pan contact the plate?
the skid is not that hard to bend. put it on the ground and jump on it. we're talking about someone who is 200lbs. image what a 2800lbs car can do. at some point the skid will start to bend in and contact with your pan. one last blow and bye bye oil pan..

    Sucks to roll hard?

    lol.

I've hit a raised manhole cover at ~35... enough to make me close my eyes and cringe as I hit it.

You're going to have damaged suspension components if you break a pan though the RaceSkid.

mine has worked out for me hitting a flowmaster muffler at 40mph so mehhhh

you are leaving out the water jet or lazer cut time for the holes in it. that also costs money based on the size of the run you make. more pieces, the better the cost spread it is. the same goes for the powder coating.

if there was not a profit to making it, what is the point to mass produce it?
