Cabrio top gasket help - leaky

Okay, first rainstorm since I got the cabrio on the road. I have a leak on each side at the top front edge of the roll up windows.

Which gaskets should I replace? Looking at realoem there is no part number for front sealing are those part of the header seal (#1 in the diagram)?
    > I think it would be best to replace #1, the piece above the windows, and #3 the end pieces for thre A pillar.

    > What about the 1/4 window seals?

Guess I can answer myself. Upon further research gasket/seal #1 is a one piece unit that wraps around to cover top of front windows. Pricey son-of-a- bitch.

I have been looking at the same seals for a while... I'm tired of the drip torture, even with my hard top on...

Do you guys have part 27 in the diagram posted by op? If not, that might be your issue as these would force the top forward a bit. I have a leaking soft top and hardtop and just ordered 2 from the stealer to see if that might be at least part of my problem.

I am missing the #27s.....guess I will order those.

I did solve part of the problem as part #1 is three pieces and mine were unglued/unattached. I used some black silicone adhesive. Cut it from water torture to mere drip torture.

Bringing this back from the dead. Did part #27 help at all?

Finally ordered these and they arrived and were installed 12/9, today it rained A LOT. The passenger side was better but he driver side leaked worse. I just gooped some more silicon on the spot near the top of the triangle window. Hope that works for a month or two.
The real fix will be to order the very expensive front edge seal, it's on the to buy list now.

FYI for those buying seals. I replaced the top front roof seal and it ends up being almost 1/2 inch short on the sides. Blunt orderd a few more in and measured them for me and they are all the some. So thats something to expect when you order the roof seal.
My top still leaks, so I def know I need to order the door seals. If that doesnt fix it then Im going to need the ones on the corner of the window frame. :/

I had water leaking from the same spot, replaced the seal two nights ago and last night had huge rain storm. I opened the door this morning to find my interior nice and dry.

sorry for bringing this thread from the dead, again, but i was just wondering if anybody had any problems with part number 4 and 5, the seals that my windows go into are fine, its the seals that go between the top frame and the actual cloth that are leaking. I can slide my hand easily under the cloth when my top is closed so thats where the water is obviously coming in, anyone know how to fix this?
