    Duplicolor "bumper trim" is WAY better. Get their "adhesion promoter" too. Local auto parts stores should have it.

    Scrub gently with scotchbrite (burgundy if you can find it), wash with soap and water (dish soap is best) dry and spray.

    Yeah thats my problem here in Chile. I visit the US often and I cant bring any of the good things back bc of it being Flammable. no seafoam, spray paint, or Bacardi 151 :hitler:

    what brands are you talking about? I tried 3M Bumper Black, its an actual black trim paint made to match the plastics. it's not semi gloss or matt, it basically takes on the finish of the plastic i.e. spray something shiny it will still shine, spray something flat it will stay flat. though it does depend on the item.

    that said it will peel off it you spray it then try to tape it off :P

    thanks guys, i was using common sense, just wanted to know what others were doing, if i dont like the semi gloss i can always spray over it with a matte paint

    forever black is awesome, made my side mirrors look like new again
    should do the same with my bumpers

    Paint the grills with semi-gloss black and wipe down your rubber bumper trim with something like ForeverBlack or Black Again or whatever.
