What clear coat to use in a high-heat application?

I'll be painting the muffler of my bike with high heat paint. Is there a specific high heat clear coat that should be used, or will a normal clear coat suffice?

Just use a high heat gloss paint on the muffler. Unless your polishing mild steel and want it to not rust. Then you can use a vht high temp paint. You can find it any any autoparts store.
