My trunk lid seems to not be closing properly. It locks fine, however there is a little gap that makes it appear as if the trunk is not shut all the way. Do the hinges have to be tightened? Any input is appreciated..

Small nut on the part of the trunk that opens, Tighten that I believe or loosen it. It is on the metal rod that sticks down and curves a bit -

Reviving this thread because I am having this problem as well. That nut that you mentioned GunMetalGrey appears to be broken on mine? Not sure if it supposed to look the way it does or not.
