Just like the title says, has anyone painted their plastic pumpers with spray paint. How'd it come out? or is this question a joke. just picked up a set of plastic bumpers from my local pick your part and I'm undecided oh my plans for repainting them. All postive feedback welcome, thanks guys.

its not a joke its just a prep time thing. if youre really prepared to do a good job sanding/cleaning, primering a bunch, wetsanding, painting, wetsanding, clear, more wetsand then polish/wax you can expect good results. honestly its mostly a patience thing as opposed to money/super-human-painting-skills to get these to turn out well on your own. give it try i say; worst thing is you get it painted professionally and it wont be very expensiveOriginally posted by BewWooThat's what she said.Comment

I recommend using some self-etching primer, as it will adhear much better than other primers.Comment
