    New look for side moldings

Got a little inspiration from 2 different sources for this, the first was a guy at the picnic last year who had painted all of his trim and moldings with the same DupliColor bedliner I used in my engine bay, which is a very fine texture, and it looked amazing.

The second was this pic, which I have as a giant framed print above my desk:

So I got creative, and with a little help from Andrew and some red vinyl, this was the end result:

Some will love it, others will hate, but I think it looks badass in person. Unfortunately, I don't own a camera capable of taking pics that don't look they were submerged in soup, so this is the best you get for now. I'll try to get some full shots of the car later. It really is red, my camera is just shit.

With the hood open, it goes very well with my red M50 valve cover and the red Koni strut caps, and in the interior with my M3 cluster (red needles) and the red stitching in my Nardi wheel. When I have my Recaros recovered, they'll be black cloth with red stitching, and red embroidered Recaro logos. Dare I say it, but at first glance, it quickly resembles the look of a Sport Evo M3. :D

I like it! Quite a bit actually. However, I think you'd only be able to pull this off on black or silver

Yeah, would be tough on any other color. Red is such a great contrast for black. I need to get a good pic of the whole car, it looks really good.

I can dig it. The first thing I thought of was a mk1 gti.

It will be exciting to see the entire car, it's a cool idea.

I'm trying! The only decent camera I have is my G2 (it's quite good, actually), but it just went to shit, so I'm waiting on my replacement.
