    M3 trunk spoiler question

I picked up a M3 style spoiler assuming it was a knock off for a regular e30. However it is really wide (barely catches the trunk on both sides).

I am wandering if it isn't a true M3 spoiler, but i dont know how to tell.

How do original m3 spoilers mount? (does anyone have a pic of the mounting holes?)

Were they made of Fiberglass or a rubber material like the iS spoiler?

Where are the part #'s on a true M3 spoiler?

    thanks.

Hi yes the bmw m3 spoiler would be to wide it would go past the trunk and on the sides of the car.It bolts 2 bolts each side on bottom.it is made from fiberglass .It is kinda heavy.I have one in my garage sitting there when I removed it and put a EVO III carbon flap one.they do make a e30 m3 style one for regular e30 cars.you can put a m-tech if you like.sucks but the oem m3 spoiler will not work.I guess if you wanted to cut it in half and make it work some how you could.

        thanks for the replies.

I will have to double check & see if there is a # there. I didn't see one at first.
