I recently discovered that my passenger side "vent" window is plastic. Appears the car may have been vandalized in its past and repaired with plastic. Is there an easy way to remove the vent "plastic" window to replace it with real glass?

To get it out you basically force it down into the door. Seal and all. It took a bit of wiggling and a little bit of windex sprayed around the frame to break the rubbers seal. I'm not really sure how much of the internals of the door need to be removed bc when I pulled mine out i had already removed the window and motors and whatnot. But I would imagine most of that crap would have to come out.TWELVE HAMMERS

Here's a portion of the factory repair manual that might help:

I really wanna help but I have no clue. How much have you looked at it and tried to figure it out? It seems like it's likely just you pushing it out really hard, maybe heating up the seal to melt it.The first car I ever rode in was an e30
