Need A paint job? NO BS 800 FLAT ( california )

ive had this up for a while and have gotten close to 2k hits.

    LMK if your interested.

here is a e36 i did last night i only charged him 800 bucks. he did not want any dent work done, i normally would charge about 900/950 for a e36 sedan, but since his car was painted at least 2 times prior (i have proof) i cannot give him a warranty of any kind

first e30( from rev) . Alpine white 3.

Quick question-on matte paint, I know you can't polish it, but you don't see (buffable) scratches, right? And for touch ups, it's the base color, and then a matte clear?
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

well as far as touch up the process is the same but if you just "dab" on some flat clear its not going to remain flat or Matte your better off just dabbing some of the base coat since it should dry flat anyway.

I don't get it. Red paint alone is close to $500. You did it practically for free

I didnt want to say it in the other thread, rain on anyones free paintjob parade.. But youre not doing yourself or the customer a favor when you advertise work that cheap.

You can actually still do paintjobs.. And actually get paid to do them.

@FrankM E30 well its not "free" but it works out. i dont make money off these paint jobs ; i make money from insurance work. you can ask almost any REAL body shop and they should tell you something similar. with these 800$ paint jobs all you get is ; sanding, masking and paint, no dents/jams. the way i see it if i can have a extra 3-4 hundred a week from a little 800$ job then its ok; i don't mind. for the record the majority of the pint jobs that come by the shop are priced over 5k

@ Jonny Cash, im not hurting myself in fact i WILL not spray a car that it is in very poor shape ( heavy dents, major rust or collision damage ) unless they plan on having repairs done with me or by another professional before the actual paint job. the reason being that i feel it sets me part from other places(M@@co)

and I DO paint cars and make money, the thing is that i cater to everyone's needs and some people either cant afford expensive paint or just are really cheap. don't think i go around paining e92's for 800 bucks lol.

id rather have people think that they can get a OK paint job for 800 then think they can get one for 300 bucks, m@@co status

how much to paint an evo II front spoiler and an EVO III rear spoiler, both same color. Front spoiler needs to be sanded smooth then painted and Rear would have to be filled (cuz not smooth on top because fiberglass) sanded smooth then painted.
                Thanks

Dude you're the man! I need to get a little bit of paint/body done on my E30.
My dad works in San Ramon, and I'm from the Bay area...but currently go to school in San Diego.
Can I e-mail you pictures of the work I need done, and you give me a quote?
I'd love to bring it over in December, when I'm off from school.

Are you saying that you wouldn't paint an e92 for 800 bucks? If so, why not?
Oh and if you don't mind telling us, how much did that white e30 cost to paint?

I know a kid who spray painted his 335i flat black. Only had the car for a month too.

i could paint a e92 for 800 bucks but it would not have a warranty. also i want to make this very clear i don't earn a living painting cars for 800 bucks. i do about 8k a week in insurance work which takes priority.

the owner of the white e30 has asked that i not say how much he paid. i respect my customers privacy.
