    Single stage repaint is cheaper?

    as the title says, does a single stage repaint come out cheaper than a paintjob thats got the clear coat included? planning to repaint the eta sometime next year

    As far as looks are concerned, single stage has the ability to look like a two stage paint job. When it comes to upkeep, longevity and fixing imperfections - two stage paint is far superior.

    If you plan on keeping your car and if you can save enough money for the two stage paint job it is a much better investment.

      Single stage red and black suck. Single stage white is fine. Titanium dioxide (white) improves durability. Whereas black carbon, for example, is rather soft.

        It depends on the products you're comparing. For example single stage Glasurit or Diamont UNO are going to be substantially more expensive than low budget two-stage paint.
