paint stencil question

started working at my uncles body shop and a buddy of mine

got a carbon fiber hood and wants it painted the same color of the car

but wants to have his forum name in carbon...


only thing i can think of is put the sticker he wants on the prepared

(bare carbon) and spray the base coats/ then peel away the stickers and

spray the clear?


Ive never done anything like this before, any ideas on how to go about

doing this? any special techniques?

Sounds about right to me.

Iirc you want to heat the sticker/paint up before removing the sticker

And make sure to take off the sticker while the paint is still kinda wet to prevent chipping
