    my car changed colors?!

I bought a silver seta a few weeks back. It had some snu fades on it but it looked evenly distributed and wasn't too noticeable. As I was looking over my SILVER e30(can see pics in "finally an e30 owner" thead) I saw a portion of the color identification sticker. Delphin metalic...so the sun is so intense out here that it sun bleached my once delphin metalic e30 into a light silver color. With that said I plan on repainting it. Should I repaint it light silver or its original delphin metalic which is now by far a completely different color?

If you want to change the color, do it all the way, including door jambs, engine bay...etc.

    Cost factor increase = 4x-6x

I mean, you should paint all that whether you stick with the same color or not, but if you want to save some money, you could get away with the same color and not have to do the jambs.

Might just try a cut and polish first. You would be amazed at how much oxidation can cover up.

Metallics are base/clear. If it is that fried, don't waste your time on cut/buff. GL on paint, bud. You live in a rough area for paint in general.
