    shine up the valence

    so guys, whats the best products and procedure to bring the shine/luster back to a schwarz valence? no cracks just normal road debris scraping/stone chipping. compounding and waxing??

    First I would wash the valence, then I would use rubbing compound. I use turtle wax polishing compound for light to medium oxidation and scratches. I would use the compound on a buffing wheel. After apply the compound turtle wax also has a polish for black cars, it's called color Match polish after applying this with a buffing wheel and a new pad, not the same one you used with the compound. Finally use a sealant or carnauba wax or you can do sealant and then top off the sealant with carnauba wax. I use griot wax and sealant products, I'm sure that turtle or maguiars waxes or sealants will work just fine. You can use a buffing wheel If you'd like to apply your sealant or wax.
