    Clear Coat on flat colour

i know ive got another thread, but hey its a diff question.

looking at a repaint in one of the reds (hell/imola/zinnober/brilliant)

do i need to use a clear coat? i take it they are lacquer paints? im a bit a n00b at painting (got a rough idea from prepping body parts) so any good links?

    cheers

more coats means that it will last longer and look better.
