    Adjusting rear euro bumpers

This is a question to anyone who has installed European bumpers.

Ok, I already drilled my two wholes needed to mount the back piece. I made the wholes big enough so there will be room for getting the bumpers perfectly flush with the body.

So the very back is fine, but when I bolted on the two sidepieces something is wrong. The driver’s side isn’t that far off, but on the passenger sidepiece is sticking way out from the quarter panel.

I'm not sure how this could be since the driver’s side is nearly perfect (probably just needs the end cap screw put it to make it perfect). My guess is the bracket is bent out of shape, but its very hard to notice.

Has anyone else had this problem when installing their bumpers?

Is the middle piece aligned / centered?
When I installed mine I started with this piece - I used the rear center panel seams below the taillights as a reference point. Once you get this centered / height adjusted you can proceed to the side pieces.

I'm pretty possitive everything is aligned.

I had to take the center off thought to get the sides on. I think im going to take them off and check with just the center piece again.

      thanks

If the brackets are bent then I guess its not centered. Having done this I found it easy once you had the centre aligned. You first need to make sure its centered between the taillights (again, I used the panel seams below the taillights as my guide). Once you have this done you should make sure the depth is correct.

ya I'm using the lines running below the tailights. I might just get new brackets If i can't get them straight soon
