    front bumper shock removal

Where is the access to the nuts that hold the bumper shocks on? I have a stripped head on one of the torx bolts from underneath. My bumper is in lousy conidition so i can drill it out from the top rather than the bottom, but if i can just pop the one bumper shock off it would make things a lot easier.

They are behind the bumper. Not sure if you have access with the bumper on

Thats lousy. Ive drilled past the threads coming from the top and its still rusted on. Been spraying PB blast on it for the past week and been trying to hammer it out from up top. Rust can be the only thing holding it on at this point.

I wound up cutting off the torx bolts that bolt onto the plate behind the plastic bumper. Not sure yet if i can salvage that metal piece or not.
