    Methylene Chloride

I'm in the middle of stripping the paint from my new wheels, and i'm using aircraft remover that contains Methylene Chloride.

If i'm doing this outside, should i still be wearing a respirator?

Yes! If you dont have one at least do it outside with TONS of ventilation! Also be sure to wear eye protection. That stuff, even the fumes, will cause some serious eye irritation. (I have a BS in Chemistry).

Respirators are cheap and pretty comfortable.

I wear one. Also eye and skin protection. If it does get on your skin, rinse with water. The burning will go away shortly after.

Thanks, i had gloves and goggles on, did it in the yard plenty of breeze.

that stuff in pretty bad, and more expensive than i thought it would be. I'll probably get them media blasted next time.
