Do you play with fiberglass stuff often? You're NEVER going to get an absolutely perfect part. That's just the nature of the beast. But the kind of "work" required is on par with fixing a couple door dings, not fabricating new floorpans. They're nice pieces, whether you believe it or not.

I've owned both and this statement is the furthest from the truth! The IE flares are not a direct fit at all. I had to heat them at the top to mould them around the belt line, and they don't extend all the way down to the bottom of the fender.
Check out that "better fit" on the rear fender

Compared to the eurostop flares. I like how these taper better, but I would say that they stop a little short.

Also, since these are fender flares moulded from 2002 fender flares that also kinda work on E30's, they don't have a provision for the rear gas tank door, and you have to cut the bottom off the flares if you want them to fit well.

Compared to the "worse" fitting eurostop flares.... hmmm.

Finally, I ONLY track this car, and have yet to "shatter" one of these flares. Yes the IE ones are more bendy, but the eurostop flares have not cracked/shattered/delaminated etc. I'm not a huge fan of eurostop, but I gotta say that the only thing i've bought from them are these flares and they have been a great upgrade from my old IE flares.
To break it down even simpler, this is why I like the eurostop flared better than the IE ones I eventually tossed in the bin
-Wider, much wider
-the fit is much better
-Designed specifically for the E30
-Looks better
-bolt on and go

So then, you don't understand how aftermarket fiberglass parts work, do you? For all intents and purposes, they are a direct bolt on for later cars. A bit of scuffing/sanding to line of the front belt line and they do bolt right on. Oh, I guess you have to drill holes so they don't bolt right on. Are you so blinded by your dislike (or everyone elses dislike?) of eurostop that you can't recognize a decent product? It's a $400 set of flares made for a 20-30 year old car...
