    How much to fix this?

hey guys. I came across this 325i in a local listing. I think I talked a good deal out of the buyer but this is hmmmm:

I'm going to see it tomorrow and hopefully it's only cosmetic.

How much do you think it'd cost to have this crumple straightened out. I do plan on DD'ing this so I'm not expecting showroom perfection.

Is there anything I should look for in regards to damage to critical unibody parts?

It's part out material. If it was just the door, no problem. Even the quarter panel right behind the door could maybe be fixed. The bottom rocker/frame rail and the rear valence seal the deal.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

If it drives straight and true, keep it as is, those dents give your car character. I miss my beater AE86, there's nothing more liberating then driving dirty in a car a car that has nothing to lose.

i miss being able to drive my E30 like that before i had resprayed. Now any nick on it, pains me. I used to sit on my hood, trunk & pass my car keys across the roof to my buddy anytime i need to lock the roofrack, or better yet rest the bike/snowboard on my roof before mounting.

those days are long gone. lol

well, I picked up a (mostly) straight bodied 1987 325is last weekend:

Needs some work but nothing a few weekends can't fix.

Is there a member's journal section around here? :D
