Late model valence on early model vert?

I want to put a 89+ 325is front/rear valence on my vert, but i want to keep the diving boards, but i also want the lip tucked under the bumper like the 88 325is model .just wanted to know id its as easy as unbolt old, bolt on new, or do i need extra work. A redirect to a tutorial would be nice, i couldn't find one.

I did a plastic bumper swap on my 1987 a few years back, and yes the late model valance will bolt up. Mine took some finagling to get the bolts to line up, and I had to cut off my tow hook, but it did fit without having to drill holes or do anything custom. Sounds like you want it to look like an 88 model? (Diving boards, but late model valance)

Yes like the 88 model. I like the diving boards for some reason.

Or you could give me those euro bumpers in your sig.
