Need some opinions for which red I'm going with

Looks like I'm just going to send out my car to get painted instead of doing the work myself. I'm doing a color change and going back to a shade of the original red from before.

The car was originally briliantrot and the PO single shot it with some shitty earl scheib single stage blue. He painted the jambs but not the trunk or bay :(. Yeah, it's going to drive the price but I've already come to terms with that.

I'd like to stick with a BMW red of sorts. I've seen plenty of e30s with zinno, henna, imola, hell, and of course brilliant. I'm still willing to do those colors but I'd like to try something a little different maybe. Here's a list that I'm considering.

Vermillion
Chiaretto
Electric
Japan
Zinnober
Brilliant
Barrique
Melbourne
Calypso

I'm thinking either Chiaretto or Barrique even though it won't match the bay or trunk at all, which I'm ok with. What other not so common red e30s have you guys seen? or have?

Love Imola, have it on my Z3MC.

Saw a e9x wagon the other day with the vermillion red...looks VERY nice but since it's a bit metallic you would have to ensure that the body is really straight

Hellrot off the E36 M3 would be a great color! Close enough that the non painted parts would match ok too.

Dammit, Barrique would be awesome but would be way off compared to the rest of the car.

Looks like it's down to hellrot, imola, or melbourne now. I like the small hint of oj in the melbourne. We'll see when I come down to the actually choice. I'll probably pick on impulse.

i think calypso e30 look amazing. he would still have that off color bay tho. calypso is also a pretty exspensive color if i recall correctly
