    88+ rear metal spolier/valance swap

I have a 88+ parts car with a good rear valance/spoiler that I want to swap onto my 86
how far up should I cut it off and should I remove my old 86 valance in the same spot,or should I leave a overlay to suport/line it up evenly?

Cut off more than you need and then trim it down once it's off the car.

    Trim it like this:

Use the elongated hole in the center to align it on your car. The late model apron fits over your existing apron like a cover, you don't cut away any of the metal on your car. Once aligned you can weld it on or mount it with any type of fastener you prefer.

Look up Janderson's Project Facelift thread. He has the best info on how to do this.

early model arches + late model valence is amazing. Single best mod I have done to my car hands down.
