Need Help with under body splash guard.

I have a 1987 325 is with the large air dam ane 2 square fog lights. There are 4 air vents which has air tunnels which force air to the brake and rotor.

My front under body splash guard was ripped to shreds when I got the car so I ordered a new one from BMW. My problem is there is no way for the ait tunneld to get to the rotors as there is no opening. I am unable to get the splash guard aroung the air tunnels. to attach to the R/L froont wheel well of the car.

Did I get the wrong splash guard or do I need to cut holes in otder for the tunnels to pass through.

      If you look here:

It seems that the splash panel (referred to as the transition panel in the link) sits under the brake ducts. Judging from your picture, a piece of the original splash panel is still attached to the car and is holding the brake duct up.

I am able to correctly attach the brake duct to the front air dam. The issue is I am not sure if the part on the floor is the right part. On ebay they have the part split into 3 with a square hole for the air duct to pass through.

That looks to be a late model splash guard, you have an early model.

Like I said, it looks like a piece of your old splash guard is still attached to the car. You need to remove it so the new splash guard will fit.

That piece is not a piece of the old splash guard. it is an acessory brake duct. It actually mates to the new splash guard.
My plan tomorrow is to visit BMW where a Old school parts guy can clear this up. And get the car up on a lift where I can get better camera angles and pictures.

It was BMW parts guy who informed me that this air duct should attach to the new splash guard. I will continue this after BMW and new pictures.

PS. I thank you for taking the time in an attempt to assist me.

You got the correct splash guard but you do need to cut holes in it to fit the brake duct tubes.

There's instructions on page 2 in the link NitroRustlerDriver gave you.
