    2 n0000b question

1.)When you do the bumper tuck, how do you...remount it? i mean assuming you drill the hole in your shocks and let all the fluid out, wont it move with no fluid?
2.) can you get away with spray painting the diving boards after the bumper tuck... would it look crappy? could i get away with? how do i go about this?

1)you can run a bolt through the empty compressed bumper shocks then to keep them pinned.
2)Unknown, i havent done that but it may; anything has the potential to look crappy. It may not be enough left showing though to really tell any flaws in the evenness though. Be sure to prep it to what ever length you can, flaking paint is worse than even unpainted :P

I would go with black on a white e30 IMO. To prep I would assume, sanding it a bit until it is smooth, primer, then paint. Take your time on the paint or else it will turn out bad. The biggest problem people have when painting is rushing to get the job done. If you take your time, it should turn out great.
