    best touch up paint?

I just had the front fenders rolled, which I wish I would've been there when they did them. Said they used a heat gun but my paint is cracked and chipped to shiet. Don't have the cash to get the fenders resprayed, so I'm looking to find some touchup paint to make it not such an eye sore and prevent rusting in the mean time. The color is bronzit... anyone know of good touchup paint I could use?

just so u know, most over the counter touch up paints are lacquered or enamel based. Depending on your current paint's type, there might be compatibility issues... especially if you decide to do a respray down the road, you gotta make sure that crap is off.

your best bet is to go to a paint store for someone to mix you a small bottle of actual automotive paint to brush onto the car. notice, your car is a bronzit to, so you'll probably need a clear coat touch up after

Thanks for the heads up, didn't even think about problems with compatibility. Looking to get a respray in the future so that's def something to think about. I was thinking something along the lines of Dr. Colorchip or if BMW made/makes any touchup kits.

Dr. Colorchip by far. Has worked miracles on my E46.

they are one of the better ones. they are enamel based but won't come off as nice as advertise since you have a metallic color with a clear coat. They work best with single stage paint

I went with a kit from paintscratch. We'll see how it goes.
