1989is Schwartz question.

As the title states I have an 89is that is Schwartz, However both of my bumpers are diamondschwartz. I asked a gentleman that owns a BMW specific shop about this and he said all 89 Schwartz cars had D-schwartz bumpers. Any truth to this. All panels on this car have matching vin stickers, and it shows no signs of wreck repair.

Not the kind of thing that BMW would typically try to save money on. Imagine trying to explain this to a customer at the dealership. Well yes sir I know the car cost 28,000.00 , this is the special "Two-Tone paint"

i hadn't noticed. Hmm. I have a 90 325is schwarz.

i'm picking up a set of bumper skin this weekend to repair "ethel" from the minor accident on 12/5/05.

the dude made it clear that his bumpers are schwarz not d-schwarz; they're from a 91 318iS...
wonder if in 91 BMW got a bit smarter and switched out the d-schwarz covers to schwarz.
