Are early model DB bumper shocks for the front the same for the rear?

I have a rear diving board that I want to mount and two sets of front bumper shocks for my 87 325e. I was wondering if the bumper shocks are the same for the front and the rear because if they are then I guess I'll just mount it up, but if they're different then I gotta source some. I tried looking for pictures on RealOEM and they sort of look the same? They're the flat top ones.

I have some rear bumper shocks off a vert somewhere. If I can find them without dismantling my entire garage I'll snap a pic.
