i, is, ix Fenders??

Educate me please.

Am I correct in saying that early and late model i, is, & ix(minus flares) front fenders are all the same?

Also, how are the ix flares held on? Can they be removed without mounting holes showing?

The IX flares have multiple holes in them for the flares but are the same size as a regular E30 fender. The only different E30 fenders are the M3 and the convertible E30's which have a larger rocker panel area.
