    Early vs. late model valances

I want to replace my older model valance with a later model valance and then later add a rieger lip and splitter. Mine is a euro 84', will late model ones fit it? I know mine is a bolt on piece.

Basically I want to go from

    to

I realize the bumpers are quite a bit different, but this was the clearest picture I could find. Are these two valances interchangable with some minor fab?

Sense nobody answered your question, yes. They are interchangable. You will need the front valance and everything that goes with it, bumper, bumper shocks, wiring for lights all from a late model car. Im pretty sure thats all you need. You can probobly sell your current bumpers and valance to make enough money to do the entire swap. The front is a direct bolt on, more or less but the rear is a pain in the ass. HTH

yeah I knew about the work involved I guess I just got distracted by euro bumpers. The rear is a hassel and involves some custom modification to get the rear bumper trim to work. Its doable and if I read correctly you are just trying to swap the front, thats not a problem as long as you have all the hardware and so on.

If you do swap I will buy your foglight covers. If not is there any chance you can find a part number on the covers for me, I cant find them in the etk. Thanks
