Rear bumper swap question

I have a late model convertible bumper, can I modify it the same way as late model coupe or sedan bumper on to my early model e30?

I googled on my phone and searched on my phone but I could never find an answer.

Fporro seems to be an expert on this. The bumper conversion should be a straight bolt on. You should also invest in a rear apron to cover the exhaust and spare tire. I just started a thread on the aprons for advice. You can find them at http://dtmfiberwerkz.com/access/rear...22_33_291.html
