Yeah all the glass stayed in. With a wrap there isn't a need to take it out. It could help I guess by having the edge of the vinyl under the seals but then when its time to strip it you would have to pull all the glass out again. I plan on sticking with this color for a while and then changing it up a few years down the road.
i pushed it into the seals the best I could and then cut them with an exacto knife right on the edge of the seal. Its about the best you can do. If you are really good you can cut the vinyl just up on the seal and then tuck it after you cut it.
20 minutes getting it back in and another 10 minutes for the locking strip.
But my point wasn't the time but why cut corners after going through the trouble of doing a good job.

Using brand new rubber and a brand new lock strip? That's quite impressive! The professional glass installer I used took well over an hour for each, and gouged my freshly painted trunk in the process (documented in Klaus' build thread).
I don't really consider it cutting corners. Professional wrappers wouldn't be putting it under your seals. The would just trim it right up to the seal like I am doing. Wraps are not designed to be permanent.

If you have the right tools, and have done a few of these, then you should be able to cover that time no proble,

I wasn't saying that "You Cut corners", what I meant was it's your car, and to do it the way I would.
Having the "Professionals" doing it??
I've seen work here done by the "Professional", and it is totally shocking.
YOurs looks a lot better.:D

Yeah professional is a broad term I guess. There is a company here in town of "professional" wrappers and I think they have a 5 year old in the back designing them and a dog installing them.
