Not sure if its been answered as I skimmed through the pages...but did you remove the side moldings and bumper trim or did you cut around them and did you remove any panels or bumpers?1991 318is - Daily/weekend track car.
An on-ramp is a terrible thing to waste...Comment

I removed all the trim with the exception of the bumper trims. I was afraid of breaking them.
I removed the bumpers. I wrapped all the body panels on the car.sigpicComment

Thanks man!
Here are a few from this weekend. Granted, they are pitiful photos. But the wrap is still holding up well for the most part. Last week I swapped in an m42 that was rebuilt about 8000 miles ago so I drove it up to the Blue Ridge Parkway for its maiden voyage. It's supposedly got hotter cams in it but I have no idea. It does idle differently than my last m42.
Its also got a chip of some kind. Didn't look like MarkD. I think ebay. Came with the motor. And its got a custom exhaust that I'm not crazy about but its better than my old stock piece. Its got a small cherry bomb, a larger cherry bomb and then a no name muffler. Looks like 2.5" stainless all the way back and some kind of aftermarket header.
It pulls really well. I swapped in a z3 rack at the same time and put my p/s back on the car. These things changed the feel of the car immensely. It felt very at home on the curvy mountain roads.

Oh yeah, and it was foggy the whole time so the view from the parkway was terrible.

I stopped at my grandparents farm on the way home and snapped a couple equally pitiful shots.sigpicComment
