Sedan trunk lid on convertible

Hey guys, anybody know if a sedan truck lid fit on a convertible? I think it will, but want to make sure. Also what is a good price for one?

Sure they do, get one from an iS and look for cars being parted, choose one that's same color as yours, I paid $ 200 for the red one, a bit high but it was near me so was able to inspect and no shipping charges.

Awesome! I thought it should work, just wanted to double check. It doesn't have to be an IS lid does it? can I use an I lid?

Yes, all trunks are interchangeable.

Yeah finding certain colors can be tough! I think I am just going to find one and paint it a nice gloss black, should go with my carbon fiber spoiler pretty well.

I couldn't find a Royalblau lid so I went with a faded Burgundrot one that I got for cheap and will paint at some point.

A previous owner made the swap on mine and had it sorted out. After I got it I started getting a brake light warning. I think he hid the brake light somewhere and now it's burned out. I need to take the interior apart and look for it.
