Are you looking to get a shop to do it, or do it on your own? If the latter: Rattle cans (will likely look pretty good), or will you be buying paint and spraying it yourself?
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Dont rattle can It, Pull the motor get 2 gallons of purple power and some 99 cent store brushes and tooth brushes go at it top to bottom. Then have it sprayed, should be around $300 bucks, Spray paint wont stand up to the heat and degreasers. Do it right the first time and be proud of what you have done.

I don't know but I scrubbed the shit out of my bay and used about $17 dollars of some crazy obnoxious blue engine enamel and its held up so far. Not as pretty as Royalblau though for sure.

Exactly why you should do it right the first time...

Not as pretty for sure but seems to be durable enough and at this point I'm not all that concerned with a pretty bay until I get all mechanicals squared away. I might remove everything later and paint body color but for now all $ is going to functional items. As of now I am running a Burgundrot trunk lid, Royalblau body, and black hood ...

Go to autozone and get yourself a quart of duplicolor ready to shoot primer and some ready to shoot clear. If your car is black then but the paint too. If not go on paint scratch or whatever site you prefer and buy a couple cans of color matched paint. You can also get a quart from your local auto paint supplier for $35-60. All in you'll be under $200.
