is spoiler repaint

I know someplace here I read how to properly prep the is trunk lip/spoiler of an is.. to repaint
I have one that hs prob about 4 coats of cracking paint on it. I want to get it back to bare so I can paint it to match my car
but I dont want to damage it and I dont want to spend the next 3 years of my life hand sanding
if you know th elink or have suggestions....please feel free to post

so no reply yet...so maybe no tricks to protect the rubbery spoiler

hit it with a DA and then re prime it with a high build primer with a flex agent. Wet sand and shoot the color of your choice.

Or sand it and plasti dip the fuck out of it, 6 coats=2cans. expect it to look like hell next year.
