Pushed in bumpers help (diving boards)

hey guys i can in to a issure with my front bumper shocks... i drilled the backs and they pushed in pretty easily and i went to the fronts and i drilled them got all the oil out and now they wont push in. Ive tried pushing them in up against a wall and no luck yet. Am i doing something wrong, are the fronts different.

Drill right through them, when I did mine my bumper shocks had like two layers of oil and metal to drill through so I just drilled right through them. If they don't go down after drilling through, try hitting the top with a mallet/hammer and they should go down after that. Also please wear a face mask when doing this as I got a face full of that bumper oil shit.
