    Flat clear coat?

Aright, I was wondering if I wet sanded my car would it make the flat clear coat smother looking. It's not the best but not the worse right now.. It was only a 30$ paint job

What the hell happend to that car?!
No if you sand the clear it will not make it smoother, it had no pigment, it had flatner so it will just turn to a ashy white

Sorry you don't like the color.. But it's what I wanted so I don't enjoy you knocking on it. Thanks for your reply though.

Yeh, if you try to sand that it will just go ash colored. There isn't enough clear coat, or of sufficient quality.

Your name no longer fits the bill.

Why did you do this? I could understand if the paint was shot and a rattle can would be an improvement, but damn. As stated above, save your money for a proper paint job. You might regret this down the road...

            That's a shame :(
            I recently wet-sanded my clear
and it made a HUGE difference in the
            deepness of paint.

Did you do it spray-can paint/clear or with a roller?
Try it. Just wet-sand it. Can't get any worse.

            Stock paint! btw.

I would suggest that you save some cash and earl schieb it. You destroyed that paint that was salvageable. Just spray paint the bottle caps pink and complete the travesty....

I work at Maaco, it would be more like $6-700 for "cheap" paint job

How well do you guys do on your paint jobs? If I brought my car to you trim removed and had an original color respray, what kind of quality could I expect?
