What color were the black bumpers on euro late models painted?

I was assuming Schwarz because they don't really look metallic.

It's probably dried up/oxidized/dirty. Schwarz on its own is darker than that.
I'm pretty sure its DS just like over here in the US

I have that in my 316 but they are not painted with any colour. Probably either bare plastic or primered plastic that were used for base model e36..

Just use the Duplicolor bumper trim paint. Myster-E and I did this on his old 88's plastic bumpers and it looked/looks great. The car is now owned by Penneroyal on this forum if you want to look up pics.
