need help with deciding what to do with my rear end

hey guys so i have an 05/87 vert that i think looks horrendous from the rear. all i have is the DB with the plastic surrounds and i fucking hate it. i dont mind keeping the DB and tucking it, but i want a damn valance/apron. i dont know shit about body work so please bare with me.

what will be the easiest/best looking method?
