Help with rear bumper!!!!!

Just wondering if anybody on this forum knows how to remove the stock rear bumper from a 1990 325iC cabrio. Its the diving board style and I can't figure it out. On the driver's side I can see the bumper support and if I lower the exhaust and muffler I can get to it to remove the two bolts holding it on, but on the other side I can only see one bolt, am I going crazy or is there some kind of trick that I don't know about to remove this ugly thing!!!!! Thanks in advance for the help!!!!!
